i ordered the apogee duet. i have played with one a little bit and absolutely loved it.
Though anything would be an upgrade from my laptop headphone out, the apogee is definitely worlds beyond.
i will report back here with details once i get mine in hand and have a chance to spend some hours with it.
what i am hoping it will offer is Hi-Fi playback for reference and general listening. Right now i will be running through a set of cans, but eventually may build playback around this unit.
any one else here have experince with the duet?
