Title: Questions about 8k video
Post by: u2_fly_2 on May 05, 2019, 02:30:29 PM
Been reading info about the 8k video which should be even better than 4k(?)

1) Which 8k-cam is best at the moment for recording concerts?

2) Is there any 8k-recordings of concerts available at the moment?
(seen a couple of U2-recordings in 4k and it´s a bit better than 1080p)

3) Also what do you need to be able to watch 8k on your TV?

4) Can VLC player play 8k?

I'm no expert on 8k...but I bet this thing produces pretty good video:

I think you're a little early on the 8k. The cost is going to be outrageous at this time.

I'm under the impression most people using it now don't produce the final product in 8k.

Is there any live recordings available in 8K?

Would be great to compare with 4K.

You need an 8k screen to see 8k and the same for 4k.If just watching on 1080 screen your not seeing all the information.

The advantage with 8K at the moment is that you have more details if you want to crop or zoom the footage before you scale it down to 1080p. You can use parts of the images without any quality loss.
