Firewire 410 Sync question
« on: January 28, 2007, 11:22:16 PM »
I have been using a f410 for a few years now and I just bought a new laptop in December.  I wanted to do some transfers on the stripped down laptop so I set up the drivers and hooked up the f410.  I can get it to lock onto a signal, but during a transfer it appears to lose the clock sync and stop passing a signal.  For example, I was transferring a cassette side and in one case it would go for about 10 minutes and then lose the signal dropping out to a constant tone.  I tried rolling back the driver as well as re-installing the recording software.  I thought that maybe it was the card hardware itself, but I hooked it back up to the desktop workstation I have and it ran fine.  Any ideas?
