It's not particularly finicky about cards, most SDHC cards up to 32GB work.

hm, someone told me I need sd cards with minimum 90MB/s for dual recording ???
can someone confirm this - I am a bit confused, cause there is no print of this on the sd card itself, ... so who knows if my cards will work ?
sorry that I am that annoying,

I use the sandisk ultra which are 40mb/sec. Used the 30mb/sec before. Have used dual recording with both.

Let's see, the cards I happen to have on hand here at the moment are Kingston, Transcend, and SanDisk extreme pro, ranging from class-4 to class-10, 30MB/s to 95MB/s, all of which work fine for dual recording in the Tascam DR2d. They all also work fine my Tascam DR-680, DR-680mk2, and Roland R-44.
