How to mount two big WAV files without getting white noise?
« on: April 08, 2010, 11:08:19 AM »
Hi,

I recorded a show yesterday with my Edirol R09HR and the show was done in two big WAV files.
When I mount them together as one big file in WaveLab .. some parts is just white noise.

Can't I store one big file? Do I need two "smaller" ones?

I'm using Windows XP by the way.

What happens when you load them individually?
Milab VM-44 Links > Fostex FR-2LE or
Naiant IPA (tinybox format) > Roland R-05

They were fine kept away from eachother.
I tried to mount them in Audacity now and it worked out fine :)

Guess WaveLab doesn't like too big wav files

I don't know about Wavelab but I know some programs have trouble handling very large files. I have had problems in the past loading files over 2gb in Amadeus on a Mac.
