Title: 15mm shockmount ??

So I have to give credit to Hypnocracy as he mentioned the 15mm stuff the rig pictures thread. So i followed his links and it sent me down the rabbit hole of 15mm camera stuff.

I wanted to see if I could get a split omni bar that would break down and fit in my bag etc so not to have to carry the huge manfrotto for most shows

So I finally got most of the parts i ordered and I think it is going to work very well for my actives. current design idea is like this

clamp---------------shock-----------------clamp

Anyone know a shockmount that will take such a small diameter ?

what I have now is pretty cool. Its 4 sections 12" each and 2 really small clamps on the ends. So it will break down to 4 x 12" and they are super light but strong enough for the actives +

This can hold the 12 mm Tetramic shaft: https://www.adorama.com/ry041120.html

Not sure if it would be too tight for your 15 mm bar though.

I have that mount.  I haven't used it much, and don't know that I will in the future.  If you want to save some money I could sell you mine.  Just let me know via PM.
