And that's freakin' AMAZING news for high-end home theater and audio/videophiles. Damn, you'll be able to watch movies in HD, while running 7.1 channels UNCOMPRESSED via lightpipe to your high-end receiver. That's crazy, that's all...  :P

how is that different then current DTS?  is this like the "next gen" of DTS stream?
i'm clueless w/HT stuff and anything fancier than a two wire "left and right" signal.

Current DTS streams are compressed but will be uncompressed to 24/96 streams on
the upcoming Blu-Ray and HD-DVD discs... right?
