Oppo 970 usb input?
« on: October 19, 2007, 01:26:41 PM »
Has anyone used this with any success? I had forgotten it was there and was curious if anyone is using it
I’ve had a few weird experiences and a few close brushes with total weirdness of one sort or another, but nothing that’s really freaked me out or made me feel too awful about it. - Jerry Garcia

I tried it before I sold mine. IIRC, it only played mp3's via USB or SD input.

I've tossed a divx/xvid encoded AVI files on mine before, and it played them all right.  If you pause/unpause it too much, the audio got out of sync with the video.  I could only get it to see my usb card reader though.  I tried both a WD mybook (external power) and a passport (powered by usb) and it did not recognize either.
