Need a good free or cheap video editor

Any ideas?  To use for making titles, adding music,
etc.

Absolutely hate to recommend it (being a Vegas 7.0 / Premier Pro 2.0 user) but XP comes with Windows Movie Maker.. :-\

Yeah, I’ve tried Windows movie maker and did not enjoy it. Thanks for the tip though.

Are you using windows, osx, linux?

If you're willing to make the jump to linux, there are some open source choices (free for non commercial use).

What programs do you use in Linux to edit video?

I use Mandriva 2007
