Source for Rare/OOP CDs?
« on: March 01, 2007, 02:00:23 PM »
SO in my move my copy of Alison Krauss Live, SACD got misplaced and when I went to try and replace it I find it is out of print.  I saw a copy go on ebay last week for $100...and seen other merchants in the $80 range..trying to find other options out there that may have it...

Anybody have a merchant that is good for this kind of stuff?

Disclaimer - I did a search already and even through rounders records says they have it, they dont... ;D

Thanks!

Nick

amazon has a lot sellers of used music... maybe?  That's where I buy all of my cds nowadays.
Tickets are dead to me.  Except the ones I have, don't have, and lost.  Not to mention the ones you have, don't have, and lost.   And the ones that other dude has, doesn't have, and lost.  Let me know if you need some tickets, I'm happy to oblige.

The problem is that lots of websites might be selling the SACD but they only list it as CD. I've had troubles trying to buy SACD or DVD-A titles online because discs are not accurately labled...I see this disc at bestbuy.com and djangos.com but they only liste it as a CD...might be what you're looking for.

thanks for the help guys.  I actually just ordered it through Amazon UK for $25 shipped which is a heck of alot less than the resellers in the states are looking for.  Now to see if the order goes through properly...
