Title: fingerprint problem w/ DaD
Post by: 1westkc3 on May 05, 2007, 12:05:14 PM
Is it me or is it DaD?  I put my FLACs into FLAC Frontend, click the fingerprint button, then decode and the .ffp file appears in my directory.  When I create the torrent file the .ffp file appears.  When I go to upload the torrent to DaD, I keep getting the following mssg

"Upload action failed!

A checksum file (.md5, .ffp) was not found in your torrented data or it was too small for a valid checksum file. DIME requires you to include such a file to your torrented data. See FAQ."

What's wrog?
EDIT: Never mind.  Seems using Flac Front-End  forces a ".txt" extension onto the
fingerprint file, so the name comes out something.ffp.txt instead of something.ffp. Problem corrected using TLH.

make sure the fingerprint does not have "txt" at the end for file signature.  I am having the same problem.  I just torrented over at tradersen--Heart with Todd rundgren opening
