I wonder if this is something that has always been the case but has only just caught my attention. In either case, any info anyone can offer would be most illuminating.

I'm uploading a single torrent to Dime using Vuze. I'm not downloading anything at the moment but my client tells me that I'm downloading data at four or five times the rate I'm uploading.

Is this just an integral part of the uploading process that I've never noticed before or is something odd going on?
