what size cigar caddy for bodies/active set up
« on: January 11, 2013, 02:02:32 PM »
thinking of doing this for my neumanns.  right now I have the same type set up but using a pelican.  my bag is getting a bit crowded with it and thought this would be a way to keep the bodies with cables connected at all times.  wondering which exact model folks are using?

Since the Neumanns have such small bodies I would use the otterbox 2000 case!!  The 2 stick cigar caddy is to long for my taste.  I used the 2000 for my ck950 bodies.  You might want to check it out Dave is borrowing the setup right now.

thanks!  that's what I figured and found on amazon.  just wanted to double check.

with the bodies, interconnects (non stubbie) and actives they are about 7 inch's long.  the length of the pelican is not what bothers me it's the depth and width.

I actually meant the otterbox 2000.  Sorry, my bad.  It fits my ck950 bodies with stubby XLR interconnects!!  The depth isn't a problem here is a link to what I'm talking about.  I would snap a few pics, but Dave is  borrowing them.  If you had stubby xlr's the otterbox 2000 would work better than a 2 stick.  Just my 2 cents after using both options.

High density pipe insulation from Home Depot+some gaff tape. Cheap, easy and highly configurable...
