Recording from soundboard ??

Well I sold my mics and want to tape a band tonight and I know I can get a board patch, sould I hook up my ad/20 then connect the d100?or just go straight to the dat from the board?, how do I connect to the board, its analog and i am just wondering about cables

no need for the ad20 as it has a gain stage. 

edit: cable >>> depends on the outs on the board you'll need either dual rca>stereo mini or dual 1/4'>stereo mini

Ok Sorry I'm new to the SBD patches thing..I have a question..

I have a Sharp MD-MT99 and was going to a few shows this summer, and some of the bands might allow Soundboard patches, if so, what cables do I need to plug into the SBD?

I have Line Out, Line In, Mic In, etc on my MD.

was the scientist doing the sound for the decond act?

did you have better luck from the 'board with ras' set..?
