Have any of you guys tried setting up a small Ubuntu server. This might be one way to get unlimited space and have little overhead. You just want to make sure that you have a good Internet connection.

I wouldn't recommend this to post the link on the WWW but if you want to send it to a few people, I think that would be fine.

I use Megaupload for the links and for storing the links. They will store as much data as you throw up there, you just have to login every 60days (i think) to keep your account valid. One thing I also like is that you can see how many people have downloaded your links. The only downfall for the free account is a limit to 1GB per link...

Once I have the links ready, I use KindWeb.com for people to be able to go back (whenever they want) to download. It is almost like a Facebook for Hippies and Tapers... lol
