Title: Car Audio
Post by: bl6216@yahoo.com on April 18, 2007, 11:03:19 PM
I am trying to find out who makes a in-dash receiver for a car that can play dvd audio. As for me and a lot of other people they spend more time in there car going to work or that show that you are going to tape. I am sorry if some one made a post like this before I could not find one.

This is the only one I can find that plays DVDA:  http://www.crutchfield.com/S-3ohZEmtYmUK/cgi-bin/prodview.asp?i=500IVAW200&g=168550&search=DVDA

I'm sure there are more out there...

However, there are several players that can play DVDV:

Some of these have vid screens, others require and external vid screen...

I couldn't find that one earlier, not sure why it didn't come up in the search...  It looks like it will play DVDA no problem, accordingly to the description...

For a budget I used to own this one which doesn't play dvd-a but does play 24bit dvd-v files, plus a variety of other formats.  It also has a 3.5mm jack right on the front.
