Taping at a bandshell - recommendations?
« on: August 24, 2004, 01:55:12 PM »
I'll be co-taping Blues Traveler at a bandshell this Thursday, and since it will be the first outdoor show we've taped I was wondering if anyone had some recommendations for setups. We have access to hypers, cards and omnis, and from what I've understood omnis are the way to go for outdoor show, yet I've seen people use hypers as well. Any ideas?

I'd go split omni's or cards. Hypers would be last resort.

If it is in a downtown area, with other buildings and traffic noise, you should go cards.
