FWIW, I recall comparing spec's of the Primos/Teacs to the Naks and they were not identical at all.....physically the same?, yes - on paper?, no. I remember posting something about this before but can't find it...
Don't get me wrong, they were close...but not mirror images
Both the Teac and Nak mics use the Primo capsules. I'm not sure whether all the other circuitry in both mics are the same, but they sue the same caps.
I also heard through the grapevine that Teac made a few other caps that would be compatible for Nakamichi mics, such as hypers, sub-cards, and also a cap similar to a CP3.
That would be cool if we could find those.
EDIT: Oh I forgot, from what I understand the Teac mics operate with an AA battery, like the nak cm100. Of course, the stick cm300's take that 9v round red battery.
