Not sure about the latest versions and its restrictions. I've used it on the job and there were no restrictions with exe and flv formats.

This is what I use for making webcasts / tutorial videos. A bit more of a learning curve than the other options, but tons of features. The best part for me is the flexibility with capturing multiple audio streams from different devices.
