I'm going to be doing some soundboards next week (for some sweet matrix action) and I'm worried that the JB3 won't be able to handle the signal. I've read that soundboards put out a signal that is way too hot for the JB3 (or even the UA-5) so I want to get some attenuators to drorp down the signal 20db or so.
A few questions:
1) Where can I get these? Does Guitar Center or a similar B&M-type store carry them?
2) Are they typically RCA or XLR? I'm not sure what the board outputs yet (still finding out from the higher-ups)... but does it matter? Can I just get a barrel converter if it's different than the cable?
3) Once I have the attenuators going from the board, can I just get a Y-adapter from Radioshack to bring them down to a 1/8" mini plug for the JB3?
