Topic: How to get a good Stereo?

Hello guys, after several years of concerts gone lost in mine memories,
I have decided to become a Taper. I' ve ordered 2 DPA 4061 and attended they arrive to me.
The question is:
I don't talking about Binaural, but in order to obtain a good stereo L+R 
I must keep the microphones near to the glasses without separations,
or keep the microphones near to the ears with separations of the head
or I'm only a little paranoid there isn't any audible difference ?

Thanks in advance if someone it will be able find interest in this my question.

Bring them back into the shadow of your head, closer to your ears, BUT NOT IN YOUR EARS. Use your head as a baffle. This will provide great imaging, and also help keep the bass in check more than an a/b pair of omni's. This technique is called quasi-binaural or head reference transfer function (hrtf)
Point them forward, and slightly out towards the sound source. Omni's do exhibit an attenuation of highs as you turn the capsule off-axis, (which would accent your bass also!)

I believe the HRTF (above quote) is the prefered method....i hope this answers your question.
