R-09HR Remote Control
« on: October 27, 2008, 01:40:01 PM »
So last night (Jefferson Starship at BB King NYC), I had 2 R-09HRs (mine and a friend's) patched together via mini cable. They were about 6 inches apart and I had my R-09HR remote with me.

If I pointed my remote to my R-09HR, it controlled its levels. If I pointed my remote to the other R-09HR, it controlled its levels.  If I pointed it in the middle, both decks were controlled. So this means that a single remote can control more than one deck. Good aim is required as is taking good care in pressing the right remote button. If someone presses the wrong button and your "hold" isn't on, there could be issues.  Your thoughts please....

not always a bad thing.  ;D  :-X

I was wondering about this when I heard about remotes being shipped with these units.

I don't think it will be MUCH of an issue, though.
Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it’s worth.
