Title: Screw on 3.5's? (Paging Chris Church)
Post by: travelinbeat on May 04, 2010, 12:03:30 AM
I know Sony has screw together pieces for some of their can-style headphones, I'm wondering if you folks know of any place that sells just the plug (so that I could solder some things on my own). I'm also wondering about modifying my ST-9100 and CA-14's to have the screw-on plugs (or, Chris, maybe I could just send them to you if we can reach a good price for the labor).  I just recorded Weezer a few nights ago and I have finally had it with accidental unplugs!!!  I'd love to mod all of my cable to screw together for good, anxiety-free connection.

Thanks in advance

EDIT:  Obviously I am looking for both male and female, if possible

Suggestion- gaffer taping your connections is cheap, removable and works well to prevent an accidental signal break.
