Used the Settings someone mentioned here a few pages ago, 2nd 4K Video upload using the camera with the internal mics for right now.

So Nice to be able to capture a 90 Minute Outdoor Performance. Will need to clear some stuff off my older laptop before I mix these with my Mic Sources. Fun to work with for now.

Wind kicks up from time to time in between songs, but enjoyable sound and views when the band is playing...

Uploading straight from the SD Anker Card Reader to YouTube when I get home. They are usually processed by the morning I have found.

Niiiiiice, Rich.  Are you going to use PluralEyes later, or something like that?  4k wow I can see nosehairs

Sounds like there is some kind autolevel going on on the camera audio.

I like the sound of the fountain between songs.

Hey Bud, yeah that will be phase 2 to add my audio to the video. I currently have between 5 and 18 GB Space on my old laptop and these files run 45 - 75 GB depending on the time. Newer laptop with more space to play around with combining sources will be up next.

Fun new tool to add to the arsenal.

FYI - Davinci Resolve will autosync the two sources and is a very capable FREE software. I highly recommend it although there's a bit of a learning curve.

I used the camera and Davinci Resolve for this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FH4epL05h9I

I've only attempted to sync a single stereo source (2 ch aud + LR SBD mixdown) to the camera audio, so if anyone has suggestions on how to sync more than one source, it could be useful in the future.

i didnt get the yellow triangle, but my recording time shows 20m20s (i only have a 16GB card handy)

perhaps the previous owner already unlocked it?

The yellow triangle appears everytime you power off if hack was successful.

Hopefully they didn't exclude this hack with some software revision.

yeah it shows the yellow triangle now, and give me 41 minutes on a 32GB card in 4K
in FHD it wants to do 20m20s which would put me right at the 4GB limit
4K shows longer recording time (~41 min which is the full card), it records continuously but auto-splits at 4GB - i assume it splits seamlessly

the 32GB SDHC card formats as FAT32 in camera and if i format it as exfat on my computer it doesnt like it and wants a reformat
if i used a larger card would it format it as exfat and make longer files? or is it safer to autosplit at 4GB?

what do you guys like for cases? none of my other camera cases accommodate the lens thickness

not really a case but this looks appealing as extra protection

https://www.amazon.com/BolinUS-Fullbody-Ultra-thin-Lightweight-Panasonic/dp/B077L1ZC53

im assuming the touchscreen can accommodate self-adhesive phone screen protectors without issue?

Kind of odd that it's like this, but I'm pretty sure that hack does not also make it possible to record unlimited in some of the other formats in which you can shoot video.

the 32GB SDHC card formats as FAT32 in camera and if i format it as exfat on my computer it doesnt like it and wants a reformat
if i used a larger card would it format it as exfat and make longer files? or is it safer to autosplit at 4GB?

I just checked the properties of my SD card, and my camera (by default) formats it as EXFAT.  I didn't even know you could get it to format as FAT32.  I did a Control-F search in the manual for "FAT32" and there were no results.  You asked about 4GB autosplits.  Personally, I'd never do that, so I'm happy to simply let it create huge files (upwards of 70GBs sometimes).  For editing and audio syncing purposes, I find it way easier to have the entire show as one video file (unless the show goes over 90 minutes, then I would have a second file).

As per the manual:  Always format cards with this camera. Please reformat the card with this camera if it has already been formatted with a computer or another device.

thats an sdhc/sdxc thing

all sdxcs are formatted as exfat by default to address volumes over 32GB
