Title: Cable to record from the SBD
Post by: swordfish on September 01, 2009, 05:58:42 AM
Hi tapers,

I am planning to record the Magnolia Electric Co in the near future.

I know the are taper friendly and allow to tie into the SBD.  Which cable should I bring allong to be able to connect.

I have a long chince cable with 1/8" miniplug that would work with my Korg or Edirol.

But I am not shure if the chinch will work with the SBD .

I am sure that question was asked before......

thanks in advance,

swordfish

all boards have a "tape out" , which is an RCA left/right pair.  And even if its being used, its going into "something" that will also have outputs that are likely RCA.
so RCA > your decks required input...and you're golden.

some even have a s/pdif output, but neither of those would help you w/the Korg/Edirol (r44 not withstanding)

I am golden since I have the required cable RCA - 1/8" mini plug.

Thanks,
