I was wondering if any of the members have used this dslr to shoot musicians performing in a club setting...if so what would your generalized ''start'' point setting be going in

What lens?

Set the shutter at 125 and ISO at 800 or ISO 400 if you can get away with it.You might need ISO 1600 or higher if its dark.I shoot at aperture of 2.8 and shutter speed 125 and ISO 1600 at a club in my area thats pretty dark.

my better half used a rebel for a while before upgrading. it's a good starter body and allows you to throw money at your lens.

thanks for the input guys!....I realize that I have a starter camera but alot of big acts play here(Toronto) in small venues ...I have the default 55mm lens and also this one>>>a Sigma Zoom Wide Angle-Telephoto 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 DL Aspherical ...
