Title: Powerbag Backpack w/Onboard 6000mAh Battery
Post by: JusTapin on February 03, 2013, 11:48:47 AM
I haven't seen any mention of this nice bag I ran across in a local store the other day and thought I would share the information in case anyone might be interested.  Had I not required 9v for the R-44 I'd have probably bought one.  Look like a well constructed bag with a lot of padded pouches that may work for a nice field bag.

It does have a USB 5VDC, 1-2.1A output which might work with many other handheld decks or devices and it has prewired pouches for apple and other tablet products.  I won't list all the specs but you can check it out here at mypowerbag.com (http://www.mypowerbag.com/backpacks/business-class-pack.html)

They also have a "deluxe" model but I believe it only comes in red and it looks like the same bag, just in red (I think).  The best price I found was of course on Amazon.

KILLER idea but WAY overpriced :( you can get a decent backpack for around $50-75 and have over $100 left for battery purchases to power ANY/EVERY piece of gear you run!!!

Agree, it is pricey.  Although, you can find them for $110 on Amazon so I guess if you figure the battery would cost $40 or $50 to buy outright it may not be to bad.

I'm still trying to figure out a decent, functional bag to get.  I just bought a used Tarmac large camera bag (19" internal width) to try and I'm not feeling it. lol  It's almost to big something I never thought I'd say.
