Well, I notice that the wall charger that accompanied the iRiver indicates 5V -- 2A, 350mA.
The iRiver also takes a charge from the USB port of the computer.
Any reason I couldn't use my Blackberry car charger (uses USB cable) that is marked 5V, 400mA max?
Are USB cables different as to polarity -- I would expect them to be standard.
Elsewhere on the net I have read of people frying their iRivers using incorrect chargers. Don't wanna do that!
