check powersonic.  do you know the draw? if you do, just make sure you have a battery with enough Amp Hr. rating,  here is one, doesn't look bad. it says its 5.95 inches in length, and 1.34 inches in width, 3.7 inches tall.  hope this helps.

I have a small 6v SLA, 3AH, I think - a little bigger than a pack of cigarettes.  A small SLA with sufficient capacity for your convert would do the trick.

I have been lucky so far...have not had any leaking powersonics yet, and I actually store/run them in a vertical position, with them sitting on their side in the bag...guess I will have to keep an eye on that...

when i had the nova5, i ran them in a standard horizontal position, but with my new gear bag, the SF650, i run them vertical which makes me a little concerned, however, i usually only have them in the bag during the show. if i get acid in this bag, then i will have to make some decisions.

does anyone know what type of SLA EchoCharge uses?  i'm betting it's just a generic SLA with EC markings on them.  ....and they charge you an arm and a leg for 'em.

Dude

The draw is next to nothing.  I ran one off of two 4 aa sled's for about 6 months and never once thought about changing the batteries.  The only thing that would draw any power would be the really small green led to let you know the unit is working!

Oh yeah, thanks for the payment BTW, I just paid for my new speakers!!!

RT angles are an upgrade!!!  I take 200 bucks out of every paycheck for taping concerts etc...makes things easier, and I get credit for actually saving something!  Can't wait to go pick-up the swans next weekend!  woohoo!

Did this thing work out ok? How did you power it? with the sled I'm guessing.

Thanks
