Pixilating Edirol R-09hr screen
« on: April 06, 2021, 05:35:57 PM »
I have an Roland Edirol R-09HR that I've been using for several years without too many issues.  Recently the screen has begun to pixilate (for lack of a better term) and, reading through previous Edirol threads on tapersection, it appears this is a fairly common problem.  So...is my recorder beginning it's downhill slide to no longer being usable or is there some fix that someone has discovered since the last time someone posted about their pixilation issues?  Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

I did a quick Googling and it appears that the Roland accordion FR-7x is using the same display?
That might be an in to get a replacement.

Found a replacement screen for the R-09hr on Alibaba but for a bit too much dollars.
Have you looked up the Roland spare parts request and links to service centres?

Thanks for the reply.  I have not looked into replacement parts as I've never thought about trying to fix the unit myself.  I'm sure there's a YouTube video that would walk me through it.  I'll have a look at the links you sent.  Thanks again!
