Edirol R-09 worth grabbing?
« on: May 24, 2021, 10:48:02 PM »
I have a chance to get a gently used EDIROL R-09 for $80. I'm fairly amateurish when it comes to recording. I've been using a Tascam DR05 > CA ugly box > SP-CMC-2's. Working on getting a pair of CA-11s too.

But wanted to have a backup device and wasn't sure if the Edirol R-09 was good or not. My other choice was a Roland R-07 for less than $100. Which would be the better device to grab?

Ran one for years, never any problems.  My daughter has it now and a pair of CA14’s.
