Dave led me to believe the whole time that this was a 6v unit. i mean it says it is on the box and unit
yes, as i stated in my previous posts, the pin assigments on the 6v batteries' 4pin xlr's are wrong but they are right on the v3 power cable. pins 2 and 3 are soldered on the power cable. pins 1 and 4 are soldered on the batteries so no matter what it's calibrated at the unit will never get juice with my current battery and battery cable configs.
so how can this in any way be a 12v V3??? the power cable is not wired for it. then again i guess Dave could have wired his 12v's to pins 2 and 3.
either way some resoldering has to be done. thanks for hte offer leegeddy,+T, but i think it's time i finally get this soldering stuff down. if i can't i know i can get it done locally in St. Louis.
