Microtrack problems (fixed)
« on: November 15, 2005, 10:01:05 PM »
This was going to be about one problem but now it seems to be about two. The first main one is that I can't get the thing on. Tried just  holding the on/off switch, pluggin in the usb to my computer, and plugging the usb into the power connection. Second problem (if I can check it out) is that the first recording I made of the night is sped up by 2, ie. the recording sounds fast and about half of what the set was (JB3 says 32, MT 17). I was able to play it Sunday night but I haven't done anything with it since then. All of my recordings (or so I think) came out at the right speed.

Edit: Let the MT sit in the usb power supporter and it finally booted up :P. Anyone else had the problem with the sped up recording?

Edit 2: All of the other recordings from that night are fine. The recording info says 88.2 khz and 24bits, while the others are 24bits and 48kwz. Plus the sped up recording is also funny to listen to (I can't stop laughing).

Dunno why it happened, but change the WAV header to the proper sample rate and it should sound fine.  Note:  this is NOT resampling, it's only changing the WAV header, and should complete instantaneously when you make the change (i.e no processing required).
