Is that the U2 version? Maybe I'll use that next time and they won't take it from me :)

 Just make sure your Sax is the U2 version as well  :P

And I'll run the levels hot to match what their PA sounds like.

Self extracting exe (zip)... I'm sort of surprised that they did not put the release notes in with it.

Installed with out a problem, tested the REC light, and when you put the unit on HOLD then the light turns off :)

Planning to test it out tonight and see what happens.  Used 1.10 last weekend, but neither set went over the 2gb file size :(

I just updated mine.  The red light does go off.   To configure the red light:

1)  Click "Menu"

2)  Go down to "Display setup"

3)  Set "Display Timer" to 5 sec, 10 sec, or whatever you like.  I set mine for 10 sec

4)  Set "Rec/Peak LED" to Power Save

Once I hit record, whether I have the HOLD switch engaged or not, the Red Light will turn off in 10 seconds.  If I hit any button while the HOLD is not engaged, the Red Light will turn on.  If the HOLD is engaged, and I slide the HOLD switch to off, the Red Light will come on.  The Red Light will not turn on if the HOLD is engaged, and I hit any button.

Anyone know if you need to download 1.10 first, and then 1.20, or if 1.20 will update everything?

firmware updates are usually inclusive.  just go ahead and run 1.20.

Just updated from the initial firmware 1.03 to 1.20 without any problems. The red rec light stays off now - but so does the peak LED. Too bad, I thought the peak LED was quite handy in some situations (the same situations where the big red rec light was quite unhandy).

Can someone post the new firmware?  I just won't run random exe's on my windows box.  Thanks!

I hit "Run", and it then asked me for a spot to Save the File.  I saved it to my HD.

I tested the new firmware out last night.  All the new updates worked great!  I dig the new "Peak Hold" dealio.  Levels seem quite accurate and reading them can't be any easier.  Especially from a standing position.

Fell asleep on the couch and missed my show last night :(

Here is the update file, extracted out of the EXE, for those who want it directly
