Small format CD player
« on: August 08, 2008, 08:19:53 AM »
Any recommendations for an inexpensive, small format (lengthwise) CD player? The ability to play SACD and DVD-A would be great, of course.

This is for the small second system I'm putting together. I thought about a portable CD player, but don't think I'll go that route (a little too flimsy for me). I really like my Pioneer DV-588A-S universal player, but would like something even smaller lengthwise.

My bedroom system consists of the cheapest single-play DVD player I could find, and a Sonic Impact T-Amp on top. About as small a footprint as you could have!

I found a cheap Phillips DVD player at Target that might do the trick ($35). Any other suggestions before I pick that one up?
