I bought a couple of Eco BP50s so that my gear bag doesnt look like a terrorists bomb, and I have a question on charging (using EC 66-A charger) them. When I plug them in to charge, a red light comes on, and goes off soon after. I am assuming that is ok, just means that they have a full charge. I just want to confirm that the light going off does in fact mean that the charge is full. Also, can I leave these batts plugged in so they can "float"?
Thanks for the input!

From my experience when the red light goes off they are full.

eco's are better off 'floating' all the time, i left mine in for a few years and they would hold charge great!

Online Manual:

They recommend leaving it plugged it without danger of overcharging.

That pretty much covers any SLA. Keep them floating and they stay healthy if you are using a dual mode charger.
