No kidding.  I forget which model it is - a modded AKG stereo mic, I believe - but damn it sounds sweet!!

Is it out yet ?
I contacted the company a few years ago about this mic they wanted to take pre orders but I did not feel they would ever get it done.
They told me it would be out shortly that was back in 2004.
They came across very eager to take deposits but would give out little information I was worried they might go under and keep peoples deposits.
How does she sound?

Tony expects to finish the last two items to be checked off and then 12 will be built  for test purposes.. Tony has moved the location of SPAudio to make room for the new capsule assembly line. All Stephen Paul capsules will be built there as will the new upper end Studio Projects mic capsules.

If all goes the way they expect, you might see the Stephen Paul mic by July.

You could also buy a c33e or 422 or u87 and have tony mod it for you.

soon as I get the dough I am going to send him my 426.

Teddy, thanks for filling in, just a couple of little corrections....

I don't know anything about building Studio Projects capsules, we're going to have our hands full (!) with the SPA capsules alone!

And let's just say late summer as our anticipated production date.

Best,
