And Remember, before you accuse someone in good standing.

Not sure I would put Len "in good standing" in the taper world.

I consider him in good standing simply because if you order something from him he does not rip you off and say it got lost in the mail when it was never sent in the first place. I will not comment on his customer service as he has always been helpful to me.

And Remember, before you accuse someone in good standing. Publish a picture of the mic here. I am 100% positive one of us will know exactly who made it, and where it was made.

I certainly never meant to besmirch anyone, furthermore I do sincerly apologize to anyone and everyone who misunderstood my intentions in this thread--  I never meant to insult, condem, blame, or otherwise offend Len or anyone else, I merely posted here seeking the assistence of the best tapers forum around.  I know that you guys know everything that there is to know about recording and as such I figured I would post and try to figure out exactly what was going on.  Chris I've corrosponded only fleetingly with you in the past, and I am very flattered by your offer to look at my mics free of charge.  Please PM me your address and instructions on how to get the mic's back to me (should I include cash?  should I send a b&p style package? should I PayPal some cash?) and I will send the mic's out ASAP.  Your presence on the forums is a true asset, and your friendliness is extremely helpful and inviting; if I had any tickets, I would +t.

Thanks again to everyone for your continued interest in resolving this atrociously confusing and upsetting ordeal, I will more than likely end up purchasing a new set of better mics all together, so please stay tuned to recommend some $200-$300 mics which are similar in directionality to the ones who's pictures I will soon post.

Many thanks,
-Brian

They look like dynamic-audio mics. Once upon a time someone gave me a pair when I bought a used D8, The sticker said Dynamic audio on the BB.

I think Darren is the guys name at Giant squid audio?

Well If he ever sold on ebay under the user name It is NOT "Darren" its Dynamic Audio.

Here is the link and a picture

I knew I have seen these before It was not Darren it was Dynamic. I was close.

This is his email for contact you might be able to get him to fix them. If he is a standup guy he will fix them for free, if not send them to me.
