The cables you posted from kindcables (black stealth) are $65 with free shipping - that is basically in your range since you could expect at least $5 shipping on a $60 pair of cables. If you want cheaper, build them yourself or get them off Ebay. But unless you have lots of experience with a soldering iron and cable building, I think paying a bit more for a pair built by a pro is worth it. I also think that you'd like this thinner diameter cable because it packs up much smaller. I know I did when I went from regualr star quad to mini star quads. As far as right angles go, it all depends on how you plan to set up at a concert. Since the UA5 has front XLRs, I don't think it is as big a deal to have straight xlrs since you'll probably keep your bag open. Unless you have a shure bar, I would reccomend right angle female ends for your C4s (it would still be nice with a shure bar though).
EDIT: I can't comment on how the cables would affect your sound since I've never used those particular cables.
