Minime - am I in mono or stereo mode?
« on: May 10, 2005, 11:56:47 AM »
The Minime has a nasty little button/knob combo for setting Stereo vs. Mono.  The problem is that you can't determine the setting by looking at it.

I can imagine setting up while rushed for time and wondering whether the button was accidently pressed..

Anyone have a solution?

I'm thinking of sliding a nylon washer behind the knob so that it can no longer be pressed.

that's the headphone monitor switch, and doesn't affect your recording.

there's no m/s decoding on the minime so I would have to say no

right but if a raw m/s signal gets turned into mono wouldnt that be good for monitoring levels?
