GP-90 Ecocharge Question
« on: November 22, 2004, 08:50:18 AM »
So thank to some fellow board'ers, I have picked up a gp-90 and charger.  Thanks Bean & Yokel!

Since this is pretty old and I can't find any details on the charger, I figured I would ask the question here.  With the one light on the charger, what am I to expect when:

1) the battery is low and is just put on the charger
2) the battery is charged, and full

Thanks in advance.

I believe when the red light is on it is on fast charge.  & When it goes out it is on trickle charge.  I always just left it charging for an extra half hr. after the light turns off to get it close to 100% charge.  Scenario 1: The light will stay on 'till it is close to 98% capacity.   Scenario 2: when you plug it in the light will come on for a second or two then go out.   Hope that helps.

that does help, thanks again.  it looks like bean sent a full battery, and after some time, it really held it's charge.

i had to re-wire the charger, since it looked like your friendly mouse had made it's way with the cable.  realy nice of you to send this to me, can't i get you back with something.  Definitely let me remburse you for the shipping, ok?

Really, i'm pretty sure it was intact when i boxed it up.  I'm probably just stupid, but are you saying there was actually a mouse in the box?

nah, it just looked that way, there was some exposed wire.  really not a big deal, something that took all of a minute to re-wire and sodder.
no mouse, but that would have been a good surprise...

thanks again!
