Software for resample/dither on Mac?
« on: February 11, 2008, 11:23:18 AM »
Hi all,

I friend of mine was looking for software that can resample/dither 32 bit > 16 bit on Mac.
He heard about something called Switch, that I'm not at all familiar with.

Wouldn't just Audacity do the trick?
Or are there other lo cost alternatives?!

TIA;

Could you define low cost?

Audacity should be able to do it, and is free.
Sound Studio is relatively inexpensive.
Wave Editor is more powerful, and still somewhat inexpensive especially if you qualify for an educational discount.

This thread should have the links for the above software:

Thanks T+!
Yeah, they all seem to be within reasonable price range. I'll check this with my pal and see what he's familiar with.
