I got audio has these properties
Bitrate: 3072kbps
Audio Sample size: 16 bit
Channels: 2 (stereo)
Audio Sample rate: 96khz
Audio Format: PDM
i have figured that i need to downsample and posible dither???? I just got wavelab 5.01b what next? I want to be able to burn this on regular audio cds that are 44.1

Does the audio sound proper when playing back, or does it sound especially fast (like a chipmunk) or slow (like the dying HAL9000 in 2001)?
Just trying to get a handle on whether the 96 kHz sample rate is a function of a mis-written WAV header (in which case you don't need to resample) or if it was actually and truly recorded at 96 kHz (in which case you do need to resample).

well i noticed i couldnt play it at all on wmp. i can play it fine on winamp and it loads up in cd wav.
there is a hiss though over it. it was a soundboard to laptop. the person set it to 98khz in adobe audition.
