Title: Rockbox Fast Forward Glitch
Post by: 1westkc3 on January 20, 2006, 07:18:54 PM
I've noticed that when I attempt to fast forward some songs, the file is fast forwarded as long as I hold down the joy stick on the H120 but it returns to the begining of the song once I release the joy stick.  Anyone else experience this?  Any ideas as to the cause/resolution?  Mind you, it doesn't occur on all songs/files.

No they are not.  Can you explain why that would make a difference?

cause the iriver can't play 24 bit recordings, if you do play it rockbox willl downconvert it too 44.1/16 and  i noticed some stuttering then.

This issue was explained over at Rockbox (http://forums.rockbox.org/index.php?topic=2284.0) along with a fix. Basically, some programs don't create seektables for flac, but they can easily be added afterwards.
