« on: April 10, 2008, 11:42:51 AM »
Anyone ever do it? How hard is it?

Really trying to tighten up my cable arrangement, 15' is a lotta cable to have curled up in the bag.

I ended up using this stuff: http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?&Partnumber=350-040 You will only need to purchase one roll. One roll will last you a lifetime.

It was recommended to me in this thread that I started regarding my Neumann active cables: http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,94049.0.html

I now use the same stuff on my Schoeps KC5's. It works great and doesn't leave any residue on your cables.
Mics: Schoeps MK4 & MK41, AKG CK63 (Naiant Actives)

Preamps: Naiant KCY Littlebox

Recorders: Sound Devices 664, Sony PCM-M10
