I too love the small lightweight amps.... but needed to put a piece of soapstone on it to keep it from doing "wheelies" with the speaker cables weight load.
With that said, my $11 chip amp has had my $3500 Plinius (which does not require the piece of soapstone mod) in the off-mode for a few years now.

I agree Moke. I have two. Sticky tape holds one in place and a paperweight holds the other one down. My favorite one is on a nightstand and boasts a headphone out for late night and a pair of Klipsch bookshelves for some noise.

I run this little gem as my headphone amp. I use it by the bed, and have a DVD-A player plugged into it.
Its about the size of a pack of smokes (with tubes sticking out of the sides).
Nobsound NS-08E

sort of missed making mmy point,... I've been kicking around trying it into my chip amp as a preamp head unit.

I also have a Nobsound. NS-10G. Really tiny. So small it’s the one I have a hard time keeping still. Haven’t even tried the Bluetooth. I like the one you linked. Good reviews. I always wanted to try a tube amp and for that price might as well.

Apparently the tubes on that Nobsound are purely cosmetic: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/review/B014FASL1A/R3A31KV0I3LWUH/ref=cm_cr_dp_mb_rvw_1?ie=UTF8&cursor=1

So, if you want to try a tube amp, this isn't the answer.

this is what drives my outlaw monoblocks. I dig it, i think i paid $16 for it. seems they make a bunch of cool tube stuff.

you have to assemble it but that was 1/2 the fun. i dont think it required tools
