Title: Windows 11
Post by: rigpimp on May 26, 2022, 07:06:42 PM
Any reason to upgrade?  I can think of a ton of reasons not to but if there are magical leprechauns hiding pots of gold in 11 I might consider it.  My primary concerns are breaking functional programs, security, and/or resource hogging.

I recently switched to Mac, but was running Win 11 for a few months prior on my PC. No issues.

A few annoyances. The main one being they "hid" half of the menu when you right-click. From what I recall you need to click a "more..." link to get some some handy features.

Also some settings are harder to find, but you can always search for what you're looking for.

Overall...I say if you like to geek out on the latest, do it. If not, it's not a must have.

I like it a lot except for the right click thing.  I think there is a reg hack so it only does the traditional option.

I have not run into any software that doesn't work.  If it works on 10 it'll work on 11.
