Lost one of these mic holders for Shoeps v4, when I took it out of the bag at a Wolf Bros. show Friday it flew off the bar and wound up over the balcony rail. Fortunately the floor was empty so no one was hit by it but could not find it. Need help with I.D. and source if available. Thanks, Bob

I recommend these with the far more durable metal base.

But will it fit on the existing bar? I'd like to keep the same setup. Does anyone recognize this set up? Melanie got it 20 years or more ago, can't remember name or source.

Yeah, it should. That lower mount appears to be an older version of the Sabra SOM-ST2 bar, or similar.

Thanks for the help, we'll pick one up and see what differences there are in materials.

If the entire thing went over the rail you need two pieces to replace it. The mount is a Schoeps SGM miniature mic clip. The other piece that slides onto the bar may be tougher to replace. It looks like a Sabra Som stereo mount but an older version.
Is the bar 4 sided or hexagonal? The newer version of this stereo bar linked above is hexagonal so a replacement mount for the newer bar may not work if the bar is four sided.

bar is six sided as is the original, just lost one of the mic mounts, not the whole bar set up. I am ordering it but I think that the quality won't be as good as the original. If anyone has one of the mic mounts (not the clip for mic, but the end piece) let me know. Hopefully the sucker will just slide right on to the orig.
