Powering camcorder with Wallyworld 9V?
« on: November 12, 2004, 03:53:14 AM »
hey
im looking into bringing my camcorder to some smaller shows where its cool to do so, the manual says it runs on 8.4v plugged in or 7.4v battery. will it run on 9v wallmart Li-ion battery that i use for my UA-5? any idea how much drain camcorders usually have? would it completely kill the batt you think or i could power both off it and still get good life out of the sucker?
thanks
adam

if it doesn't work, you might wanna look around ebay for some cheap batteries.  i got a cheap knockoff for my mini dv cam that lasts 6 hours and it only cost me like $20.

Because nothing says "I have lots of money and am sort of confused as to how to spend it" like Bose.
