Gimme a day or so and I can report. If you're like me, though, you'll load it before hearing anyway ... I certainly did! :)
Out of the game … for now?

So far it's working without a hitch.  No more weirdness at file splits, and so far no other new issues.  :)

thanks Moke, backatcha...

my biggest problem now is to figure out how I can get the files off at ACL this year, since I dont have a lappy with a firewire drive...may have to borrow one with a huge HD :P

I'm like a pig-in-shit with all these new toys coming out, and coming home to taperland. I'm opening a new box tomorrow!! :head spins:

tell me about it...of course I still have to deal with the eye roll from the wife when the boxes show up

Ran with 1.37 in the field last night and had no problems.  Just to be ballsy, I didn't reformat the drive or anything and  just let it run unattended for the entire show.  No media speed errors and the splits look clean.

The unattended part was not completely by choice.  I didn't have any cover.

BTW, this version seems to have fixed something in the firewire because the MD5 verification is passing on first transfer attempt, so that's looking more stable.
